West Cornwall Pasty Company Covent Garden

The West Cornwall Pasty Company in Covent Garden is a great place to come to enjoy mouth-watering pasties.

The theme of the shop is Pirates, pasties and ale and the decor is authentic with heavy wood and photos of pirates eating pasties.

The food is delicious and very affordable. You can munch away on a pasty for as little as £1.40 small, £2.30 medium, £2.70 for the largest and there's a variety of fillings to choose from. They also sell lovely vegetarian pasties!

The original Cornish pasty includes meat, potato, swede, turnips and onions but the ones without meat are just as delicious.

The aroma of hot Cornish pasties wafting through the air in Covent Garden is tantalizing and tempting and that's why they're so popular.

The Covent Garden shop is in a great location on the Piazza. You can either sit outside or go to the top floor whre there's a cozy bar. It's just like being on a pirate ship as the pasties come up in a food lift from the galley below.

Enjoy your pasty with a basket of hot chips (scampi as well) and wash it all down with pints of Cornish brewed ale or wine. Truly delicious!

If you can get a seat on the balcony you'll be rewarded with fantastic views of the Piazza below and will often be entertained by street entertainers.
