Trafalgar Square festivals are held in this majestic square againste the backdrop of the stunning National Gallery and looked overy by Nelson's Column.

This is the very heart of London so it's hardly surprising so many festivals are held here.

Eid at Trafalgar Square

Celebrations for Eid-ul-Fitr, the Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan take place in Trafalgar Square.

There’ll be top entertainment on offer including live music and theatrical performances, plus a chance to discover Muslim art and culture and try traditional Eid festive food.

This annual free event takes place at Trafalgar Square from 12pm - 6pm on Saturday 24th September 2011, with performances starting from 2pm.
