Film-making masterclasses with CBBC Me & My Movie in Association with BAFTASaturday 13 – Sunday 14 September 200812pm–7pm at Jubilee Gardens by the London Eye Get inspired in film-making masterclasses with CBBC Me and My Movie in association with BAFTA and go behind-the-scenes of Newsround. Try your hand as a reporter or camera operator in a specially built studio experience - special guests and surprise appearances and live broadcasts throughout the day.

The Movie Tent - FUN WITH FILMSaturday 13 – Sunday 14 September 2008Time: 12pm Jubilee Gardens by the London Eye The Movieum tent will be focussed on FUN WITH FILM. Throughout the festival there'll be making a continuous black and white old-style movie starring our very own Charlie Chaplin and made by their old-style film crew.
Ozu Japanese Food Demonstrations & TastingsAn excellent chance to taste food from the Ozu menu designed by two-star Michelin chef, Thierry Marx. You can watch the delicious samples being created in front of you by Florian Favario, Thierry’s number one chef who is now in charge of Ozu London. (Nearby is the Ozu Restaurant, County Hall - opening times during the Festival are: 12 noon – 2.30pm and 6pm – 10 pm on both days).
New European VillageSaturday 13 – Sunday 14 September 200812pm–9:30pm at South Bank riverside walkway Discover national crafts and traditional music and dance to folk music from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
Oxo GalleryAs part of the Rivers of the World project, the Oxo Gallery is showing artwork produced by young people from around the world (China, India, Egypt, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico & the UK). Admission is free and the exhibition is open seven days a week, 11am-6pm, until Sunday 14th September.
Thames Festival’s Illuminated Night Carnival - Sunday 14 September 2008Time: 6pm - 9:30pm - Fireworks 9.45pmThe fireworks are scheduled to fire from two barges positioned mid-stream in the River Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridges. Good views are from Victoria Embankment and the two bridges. Breathtaking events include masquerade, dance, music, illuminated sculptures and fantastic costumes. The Carnival starts at 6pm on Victoria Embankment, travels east crossing the Thames at Blackfriars Bridge, and finishes behind the Royal National Theatre. There's a spectacular fireworks display fired from the centre of the river itself. This popular event attracts people from all over London and around the world to take part in the Night Carnival.
