Tate Modern - London Art Gallery On Bankside

Tate Modern is housed in what used to be the old Bankside power station opposite St Paul's Cathedral and forms part of the Tate Collection which is the national collection of British art since 1500 and international modern art.

Both the Modern and Britain are connected by a high speed spotted boat along the River Thames. The Tate Modern is located on Bankside and linked to St Paul's Cathedral by the New Millennium footbridge.

This very popular art gallery is situated on Bankside on the trendy and fashionable Southbank near Blackfriars Bridge and next to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

Restaurant
Located on Level 7 with one of the best views in London and open for morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea daily and for dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Opening times are 10.00-18.00 Sunday-Thursday
10.00-23.00 Friday & Saturday (last orders 21.30).

Café 2
Located on Level 2 overlooking the riverside and open all day. Offers a wide choice of hot and cold food, juices and smoothies and the children’s set menu includes dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs and fresh squeezed juices.

Espresso Bar
