St Patricks Day in London 17 March 2010
Festival in Trafalgar Square
Sunday 13 March 2010
It's St Patricks Day in London and as the chorus of the famous song goes...
'If you're Irish come into the parlour there's a welcome there for you. If your name is Timothy or Pat, So long as you come from Ireland,
There's a welcome on the mat...
Well, never was this more appropriate than on this very special day in London. Pubs will be decorated with all types of green decorations including shamrocks and leprachaun hats.
In many pubs free novelty hats are given away once you've ordered your fifth pint of guinness! This is the only time of year when you're rewarded for drinking copiously!
