St James Piccadilly - London

St James Church Piccadilly

St James Piccadilly is an Anglican church located on Piccadilly designed and built by Sir Christopher Wren in 1684.

In the very center of London this is a unique experience. Enjoy browsing in an open air market and then relax in a cafè located next to the church surrounded by roses.

Many groups such as ALTERNATIVES and the BLAKE SOCIETY hold meetings here.

Alternatives is 'dedicated to exploring creative spiritual alternatives to ideas currently accepted in western thought'. They hold regular meetings with new-age thinkers such as Deepak Chopra and Nick Williams.

In 1757 William Blake was baptized at St James’ and he is celebrated by the Society through lectures, discussion and visits to Blake sites - William Blake Video.
