St James Park
...in Piccadilly
St James Park is situated near the ancient Palace of Westminster (now know as the Houses of Parliament), St James Palace and Buckingham Palace.
This is the oldest of all London parks, quite small and very close to the Mall. Take a walk on the lovely little bridge and you'll get a great view of Buckingham Palace.
The park is long and quite narrow with a small lake which has two islands - Duck Island and West Island. It's a very peaceful and relaxing park where you can see a variety of wildlife such as ducks, swans and peacocks.
Inn the Park Cafe/Restaurant
Very popular British Restaurant and Café located inside St James' park with fantastic views of Duck Island and the lake. Open for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner.
Facilities in the Park include a children's playground and deck chairs (April-September) and disabled toilets are available.
