The Sherlock Holmes Museum is dedicated to the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes who Sir Arthur
Conan Doyle created and wrote so many books about.
The actory Basil Rathbone is famous the world over for becoming the screen version of Conan Doyles very popular character.
The museum is housed in a lovely Georgian town house at 239 Baker Street and has been transformed into '221b Baker Street' the actual address where Holmes is said to have lived from 1860 to 1936.
The museum is run
by the Sherlock Holmes International Society, a non-profit making organization.
