Royal Festival Hall

Royal Festival Hall

The Royal Festival Hall was made for the people and now this lovely venue has been transformed into something the people will definitely love.

After two years of restoration and redevelopment the £91 million refurbishment was opened to the public on 8 June 2007 with a spectacular laser light show across the Thames. The gala opening night heralded the start of some fantastic concerts.

As well as the auditorium, the building consists of The Clore Ballroom, Southbank Centre Shop, several places to eat and drink, and the Saison Poetry Library.

Entry to Southbank Centre and all the buildings is free and you can go into the Foyer spaces and enjoy the atmosphere with or without a ticket.
