Regent Street Festival - Sunday 7 September - 2008
12pm - 8pm

Regent Street Festival

On this very special day, Regent Street will be closed to traffic and you will be able to really enjoy the wonders of this famous London street.

In 2006 Regent Street hosted a fantastic 'Walk Through Spain' and last year the street was transformed into a taste of India.

There will be more wonderful event this year and the festival will be focusing on a taste of Britain.

  • Lots of excellent events are planned so that you can relax and enjoy events from 12pm - 8pm on 7 September 2008.

  • Everyone is going to join in the festivities and retailers and restaurants are offering a celebratory 10% off on the day.

  • There'll be lots of entertainment for the kids including storytelling and street entertainers so they're sure to have a great day out.

  • Regent Street food quarter, Heddon Street and Swallow Street, will also be involved in the festivities.

  • There'll be ice sculptures created by the Absolut Ice Bar on Regent Street with vodka pop up bar!

  • When you need a break from all the hustle and bustle, cut through Swallow Street and indulge in Fish and Chips at FishWorks.

  • At the end of Swallow Street is Piccadilly and directly opposite the street is a famous old church with popular stalls selling bric a brac and so on.

Have a drink in the rose garden or take a stroll in nearby Green Park which leads to St James Park and Buckingham Palace.

If you fancy spending some time at the park with the same name as this popular street, jump on a tube or bus and head for Regent's Park where you can also enjoy some great theatre during the summer months.
