Queensway is a very cosmopolitan street in the Bayswater district of West London. There are many shops including the famous Whiteleys shopping center which is full of restaurants and shops, a cinema, car-park and the newly opened All Star Lanes bowling.


queens ice skating This is a very buzzing and trendy area of London overflowing with excellent restaurants, shops, hotels, clubs and cafes.


The largest ice skating complex in London is located here and a minute away are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and the trendy areas of Notting Hill.


A turning off the main street brings you to Moscow Road and the beautiful Greek Cathedral of Agia Sofia. Follow the road down and you come to Notting Hill and Portobello Road.



agia sophia greek cathedral At the end of this very popular London street is a Spanish churreria where you can enjoy great breakfasts and chocolate and churros.


Porchester Centre and the newly refurbished Porchester Spa and Paddington Library (which has a good stock of books, DVDs and a small internet unit) are close by.


Westbourne Grove runs along the end of the street and takes you to Portobello Market and Notting Hill which are just a ten minute walk away.


This is the ideal place to stay as there are lots of excellent Bayswater hotels and it's very central.
