There are many lovely restaurants and clubs for eating out in London on New year's Eve. Soho restaurants such as Jazz After Dark and the popular French restaurants Cafe des Amis and Chez Gerard in Covent Garden are all popular places to go. New Year's Eve

In London the New Year is brought in at the stroke of midnight by the sound of Big Ben. For many years Trafalgar Square was the main focus for party revellers but now the event has moved to Southbank where you can enjoy a huge firework display at the London Eye.


The embankment overflows with people watching the awesome New Year's Eve firework display in London and many happy souls still enjoy taking a midnight dip in the fountains of Trafalgar Square. Lots of fun and great atmosphere!


New Year's Eve Travel

Don't worry about getting home because the tube will be running all night and it's FREE! All services, including the Tube, will be free from 23.45 on New Year's Eve until 04.30 on New Year's Day.


New Year London - New Year's Day in London

London's New Year's Day Parade is a wonderful free event which starts at 12 noon from Victoria Embankment. It passes through Trafalgar Square and finishes near Green Park in Piccadilly.

There are thousands of performers from around the world which gives the event a truly international flavor. A great day out for all the family.
