NATIONAL GALLERY

The National Gallery was established for the benefit of all and has one of the greatest collections of European paintings in the world. The whole ethos of the gallery was built on helping others to learn from the great masters and this is exactly what they do.
This beautiful building overlooks Trafalgar Square where you'll find Nelson's Column and the fountains and lions. It's one of the most inspiring galleries to visit and they offer a huge selection of educational support for children, students and the general public. Amazingly, admission is FREE.
It would take days to visit all of the gallery so if you have only a few days to spare, there's the opportunity of having a guided tour covering the most popular and famous works of art. Audio guides are also available. With a permanent collection of over 2,000 works of art there's plenty to see. Also many exhibitions some of which are FREE.
