London Weather

London weather can be good but it's also very changeable!

It's been known to snow in April and can become very hot in September. However, with the effects of global warming, London is definitely warming up. It can still rain when you least expect it to so... always check the weather before leaving home.

Spring - London is bathed in flowers and there's an air of expectancy about this great city. People start to sing and whistle and smiles appear once again on the faces of Londoners.

Summer - It really can be a 'hot time in the city' - The lovely parks and gardens overflowing with tourists and Londoners enjoying picnics and ice-cream on the grass and under the trees.

Autumn - This is a leafy time of the year and good for crunching leaves in the parks and playing 'conkers'.

Winter - If you like the cold then you'll love winter in London as it's a time for wrapping up with scarves and thick coats and going ice skating. It's always warmer in London than in the surrounding areas but still very chilly with January and February normally being the coldest months.
