London Science Museum

At the London Science Museum admission is free but charges apply for the IMAX 3D Cinema, simulator rides and some special exhibitions.


There are drama shows, talks and IMAX films every day. The screen of the IMAX 3D cinema is massive and there's a digital surrounding sound system.

This interactive exhibition looks at the impact of changing climate and resource availability while exploring sustainable living in 2050. This hands-on exhibition explores how the way we live will change over the next few decades in response to climate change, as we confront varying resource availability and degraded environments. As you journey through seven areas you discover if you can you meet a series of challenges. And make choices about how you might want to live in the future. Investigate science and technology in the free galleries and children can use the interactive galleries to learn more about science in a fun way.

PLACES TO EAT:
Visitors to the museum can eat and drink in any uncarpeted area of the museum and there are picnic areas in the basement and on the first floor.


Deep Blue Café
Family restaurant with activity boxes for children and located on the ground floor of the Wellcome Wing.


Revolution Café (ground floor, Energy Hall)
Self- service restaurant open everyday, 10:00 - 17:30


Gallery Café
(3rd floor, opposite flight lab - holiday time only)

OPENING TIMES:
The museum is open seven days a week, from 10.00 to 18.00.
The Museum is closed from 24 to 26 December.
