Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the largest of the royal parks in London with the Serpentine Lake separating it from Kensington Gardens.

The park is surrounded by Park Lane, Knightsbridge, Lancaster Gate and Bayswater and it's very close to all the main shopping areas of London.

Kensington Gardens

This is one of the most popular of all the parks in London and also the home of Kensington Palace.

Situated very close to Kensington and Queensway and just a short a short distance from Marble Arch and Notting Hill.

St James Park

St James Park is the oldest and one of the prettiest of the parks in London.

The park is in the very heart of London close to Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly and just a stones throw away from Buckingham Palace and the Mall.

Green Park

This is a very centrally located park next to Piccadilly in the heart of London and close to St James Park.

The park is very green (hence the name!) and is just a short walk from Buckingham Palace.

Holland Park

You can access Holland Park from Notting Hill, Holland Park Avenue and Kensington High Street.

This pretty park has a cafe, restaurant, Japanese garden, adventure playground and great facilites for sports. Holland Park School is located next to the park and there's also a very popular hostel close by.

Greenwich Park

Henry VIII was born at Greenwich Palace and Greenwich Park was where he went hunting. Both his daughters - Mary I and Elizabeth I where also born here and this is where the famous Sir Walter Raleigh covered a puddle with his cloak so Elizabeth I could cross without getting her feet wet.
