Victoria and Albert Museum

Visiting London museums is an easy and interesting way to get to know London. As well as being a lot of fun, museums are very educational and not the boring places many imagine them to be.

They are all worth visiting as they all have something different to offer. The British Museum is very well known and popular. You can spend hours inside this incredible museum and still need more time to see everything.

The British Museum is situated in the lovely area of Bloomsbury and houses many famous treasures which are very often visited and highly controversial such as the magical Elgin Marbles.

In celebration of the Ian Fleming's birth, author of James Bond, the Imperial War Museum has launched an exhibition of the man who created the world's most famous secret agent.

LONDON TRANSPORT MUSEUM

As the name suggests the museum is a history of London transport since the early 1800s.

This is a wonderful museum to visit as it's full of hands on gadgets and loads of exhibitions. Many schools have overnight stays for the children which they all thoroughly enjoy.

VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM

The museum contains the world's greatest collection of decorative arts as well as the national sculpture collection.

Excellent museum for all ages! Watch dinosaurs feasting and visit the exhibition and explore all the activities. Plus there are many galleries which are free to explore such as the Red Zone which explores our everchanging planet.
