London Eye![]()
The London Eye which opened in March 2003 is one of the most popular tourist attractions in London. It's in the perfect location on London's trendy and fashionable Southbank opposite Big Ben. There are thirty two air conditioned passenger capsules which (due to the slow pace), you can just walk on and off at your leisure. The Eye towers over the river Thames and offers the most amazing views of the city of London. You can see London's famous streets and on a clear day you can even see Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. For that special celebration you can enjoy a Champagne Flight available daily at 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm**, 6.00pm**, 7.00pm** and 8.00pm**. (A non-alcoholic alternative is also available and children are given an inflight pack, which contains a mini guide and Eye spy binoculars in a London Eye duffle bag).
If you want to enjoy a show, play or popular cinema try the BFI, Imax, National Theatre, Globe Theatre, Southbank Centre and Royal Festival Hall. This is one of the most arty and popular areas of London and definitely not to be missed. You can buy your ticket online or from the ticket office which is located inside County Hall.
