Kensington
Kensington Palace

Kensington is a very trendy area of London and home to the Royal Albert Hall, Albert Memorial, the lovely gardens and Palace.
This is a very relaxed and peaceful place to come to shop, have coffee or for eating out in London as there are many restaurants lining the high street.
There are a couple of good supermarkets like Tescos and Waitrose and a very good Marks and Spencers not far from the Underground Station. Also a few yards away is the popular Whole Food Market which is also directly opposite Church Street which winds its way up the hill to the even trendier area of Notting Hill.
Not far away in Derry Street is the entrance to the stunning Roof Gardens and popuar Babylon Restaurant.
The main high street is full of shops and and restaurants and at the
end of the street is one of two entrances to the lovely Holland Park which is also close to Earls Court, an area popular with
Australians and New Zealanders for many years.
The main high street leads on to Shepherds Bush Road where
Olympia (home to one of London's largest exhibition centres) is located. Further on is
Hammersmith and Hammersmith Bridge which you cross to get to Roehampton, Richmond and
Barnes in south London.
