Ice Skating In London

Ice skating in London is great at Christmas and there are many other places to skate during the year.

One of the most popular places to go is Queens Ice Bowl in Queensway - it's central and it's open every day.

The following ice-skating rinks will be open over the Christmas period for 2008.

Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland
London's largest outdoor ice rink will be located between Hyde Park Corner and the Serpentine and will open from 1st December 2007 - 6th January 2008 between 10am and 10pm each day.

The 24,000m² Winter Wonderland site will feature an authentic German Christmas Market, numerous cafes and bars, a carousel, helter-skelter, a toboggan slide and carol concerts AND a huge 50m Ferris wheel which will give fantastic views across Hyde Park! Advance booking for the Ice Rink is strongly recommended.

Tower of London Ice Rink
22 November to 11 January

Historic and Magical! The Tower of London will again host the seasonal ice rink situated in the dry-moat beneath the Outer Curtain Wall of the Tower of London.
Tickets start at £10.00 up to £12.00 (Prices are subject to a booking fee of £1 per ticket)

Hampton Court Ice Rink
November 29 - January 11

Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 9AU
The ice rink will be located on the west front of Henry VIII’s historic red brick palace and the Frost Fayre Café alongside the ice rink (no entrance charge) will be serving warming drinks and festive snacks and inside Hampton Court is decorated in styles of the past.
