Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland returns with the magical Angels Christmas Market which is FREE for all to attend.

With over 100 stalls there is wonderful selection of festive gifts ranging from arts and crafts to gourmet food.

Beautiful candles and ornaments and other seasonal gifts make perfect prsents for all the family.

There are tasty nibbles of roasted nuts, gingerbread hearts, confectionary and mouth-watering crepes.

Zippos Circus

There are even more bars, cafes, restaurants and places to eat than last year and the new Carousel Bar is definitely a fun place to enjoy a glass of mulled wine.

Once again the singing moose is 'amoosing' everyone whilst they enjoy the delicious hot food such as hot-dogs and steak sandwiches with hot chips washed down with ice cold beer.

The weather so far has been extremeley good and we didn't see anyone in need of hot cups of chocolate although there were plenty on offer. Chocolate and churros and hot chocolate topped with cream and amaretto will definitely keep you going if it does turn chilly!

Traditional fish and chips and authentic food from the Bavarian Bier Keller plus Bratwurst sausages and German hogroast all washed down with Glühwein (German Mulled Wine) or chilled Bavarian beer on a winter's night in the center of London town.

For vegetarians we did spot some grilled halloumi which would definitely make a yummy sandwich stuffed with salad and chips.

More fun can be had on the the largest ice-skating rink in town and kids can enjoy tobogganing, trampolining and the helter-skelter.

Santa's Grotto is open from 12 noon until 6pm every day until Christmas Eve and children can visit him at his Victorian Bandstand Grotto.

As usual the 50m ferris wheel towers over Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and offers fantastic views of London.
