The Golden
Hinde is a very impressive replica of Sir Francis Drake's famous galleon which sailed the seas
during the 16th century.
This lovely ship is in great demand for filming, weddings and corporate events as it's
situated on Bankside next to South Bank close to all the popular London attractions such as Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the The Clink.
The crew members of the galleon are in period dress and children can enjoy a weekend of
fun at the Pirate Academy.
Borough Market is
just a minute away and there are many popular cafes and restaurants where you can stop for a
bite to eat.
Directly opposite the galleon, overlooking the Thames, is a lovely London Inn where you can
sit and enjoy a traditional drink and meal.
