Fortnum & Mason This very upmarket London department store in Piccadilly is noted for it's famous Food Hall, luxury picnic hampers and very popular Afternoon Teas.


Established in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason, the store is quintessentially British.


The famous Food Hall is stocked with the freshest of foods such as fish, poultry, meat, cheeses, tea and delicious Christmas pud.


The Fresh Food Floor has now expanded onto two floors with the addition of the Wine Bar, 1707.




St James Restaurant

Situated on the fourth floor, the restaurant provides traditional British food and the famous afternoon teas.

Fortnum and Mason Afternoon Tea The best place to sample traditional Afternoon Tea must be St. James's Restaurant.

You will be treated to a fine selection of teas, luxury and traditional sandwiches, pastries and of course a selection of scones with clotted cream and preserves.

Fountain Restaurant

Situated on the Ground Floor with access via the Food Hall or Jermyn Street.


Serves full English breakfast and the all day menu includes Welsh Rarebit, Pies and Salmon accompanied by Fortnum's famous sauces and mustards.

Monday to Saturday: Note: Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 11.00am




The Patio Restaurant

On the Mezzanine floor overlooking the famous Food Hall the Patio is famous for serving smoked salmon with freshly scrambled eggs.

Monday to Saturday: All-day Menu 10.00am to 5.30pm.

Lunch 12.00 midday until 2.30pm (Last orders 5.30pm)

Sunday: All-day Menu 12.00noon to 5.00pm (Last orders 5.00pm)
