Diaspora Music Village

The 12-day FREE ADMISSION events at venues across the capital will showcase over 300 performers and other creative practitioners. The artists are drawn from the dazzling array of national and faith communities at the heart of London’s cosmopolitan population.

Opening Festival Weekend - 3 & 4 July 2010

At Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets, East London - 2-day showcase featuring the cream of London’s very own world musicians, dancers, storytellers and other artists.

Finale Festival Weekend - 10 & 11 July 2010

The event sets up camp for the 3rd successive time in Hyde Park, the capital’s most popular green space, by the banks of the Serpentine and on the very site of the legendary Rolling Stones free concert in 1969.

Note: All the performers in this year's global line-up are London-based, though the origins of most lie way beyond these shores.
