Dali Universe Dali Universe is situated on the trendy and exciting Southbank next to the London Eye and opposite Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.


The exhibition is located in County Hall Gallery and is a permanent exhibition of the work of the very famous Catalan Surrealist Salvador Dalí.

Three monumental sized sculptures of the Space Venus, the Nobility Of Time, and the Space Elephant are situated on the riverside walkway outside the impressive County Hall Gallery.



The visitor to the gallery will be transported to a land where fantasy rules.


Over 500 of Dalí's works are exhibited including sculptures dating from 1935 to 1984.




dali universe The collection includes the Lobster Telephone and melted clocks and the Mae West Lips Sofa and Space Elephant.


The permanent exhibition houses the largest collection of Dalí sculpture in the world as well as rare graphics, jewellery, furniture and watercolours.


Dreams were a huge influence in Dali's life and were expressed in symbols from his subconscious state of mind.


His work is arranged into three themes - 'Sensuality and Femininity', 'Religon and Mythology' and 'Dreams and Fantasy' which portray his work from the 1960s to 1980s.




DREAMS AND FANTASY

This section of the exhibition contains Dali's beautiful illustrations Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland and features a stunning life-size sculpture by Dali of Alice with a skipping rope. It includes sculptures such as Persistence Of Memory and Profile Of Time featuring what for most people is Dali’s most iconic image - The soft or melted clock - [Read More].




SENSUALITY AND FEMINITY

This theme includes the famous Mae West Lips Sofa, the Buste De Femme Retrospectif and portfolios Dali’s important works of literary illustrations. These include the 10 lithographs from the Romeo And Juliet series, a dozen erotic images of the lover Casanova, and 15 engravings from the Ovid-inspired The Art Of Love - [Read More].
