There are many amazing Christmas Markets in London full of seasonal cheer and Christmas goodies. Many are in central locations such as on trendy Southbank and Covent Garden.


Covent garden Christmas Market


Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

19 November 2011 - 03 January 2012 - From 10am - 10pm

An authentic German Xmas Market where you can buy all your Christmas pressies. There'll be carol concerts and much more to do at this famous Winter Wonderland in London's west end.




Southbank Cologne Christmas Market

18 November 11 to 24 December 2011

11am-8pm Mon-Thurs / 10am-10pm Fri-Sat / 10am-8pm Sun - Free entry

The Cologne Market returns to the riverfront and for those hunting for the perfect Christmas gift there will be a great selection to choose from with 60 wooden chalets stretching from Southbank Centre to the London Eye. There will be traditional German Mulled Wine, German Bratwurst sausage, gingerbread and many other tasty dishes on sale.


The carousel is the center of attraction for children and many will love to visit Santa in Santa’s Secret Village.


Real Food Christmas Market

The annual Real Food Christmas Market is on Southbank Centre Square from 2 - 18 Dec 2011. This is a great time to stock up for Xmas with all the traditional goodies such as Christmas pud, mince pies and many other tasty foods.

This lovely area of London will be full of seasonal cheer and Christmas magic.


Traditional mulled wine, minced pies, gingerbread and traditionally roasted chestnuts. Covent Garden's Real Food market runs every Thursday until Christmas.

Borough Market at Christmas is the place to go for seasonal cheer and as it's the biggest and best food market in town definitely a must to visit when you're in London. The festive season starts early in the month with local schools and charities singing seasonal songs. There are many events taking place during December and on 17 December from 4pm - 8pm there will be a huge range of cheeses for you to buy for your Christmas cheese-board.
