If you're spending Christmas in London then you're going to have
a great time. London is a very fashionable, exciting city overflowing with culture and fun. It's one of the most
visited cities in the world and during December this lovely town is full of festive magic.
The following are some of the wonderful things you can do in London during the Christmas
season.
Ice skating In London
You can skate around a 40 foot
Christmas tree in one of the most romantic settings at Somerset House. Or, you can skate outside
the Science Museum or the Tower of London.
If you want something bigger... then you can skate around the largest ice-skating rink in London
at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.
Christmas Lights In LondonThe traditional Christmas lights are
normally turned on during the month of November.
Oxford Street lights switch-on was on 7 November and Regent Street will be on 20th at 6pm.
Two days later and it will be the turn of Bond Street to switch on the Christmas Lights at 6.0pm
on 22 November 2007.

The streets of London are ablaze with lights
and shops are adorned with sparkling gifts. Shop in stores such as Harrods, Harvey Niks (Harvey
Nichols) and Selfridges or discover the many new and trendy shops full of Christmas goodies.

Indulge in some festive spirit at these lovely Christmas markets in
London. Hyde Park Winter Wonderland hosts a German Christmas Market, Covent
Garden has a delux Xmas market and there are many others at Tower Bridge and Southbank.

Trafalgar Square is a great
place to enjoy Christmas Carols around the Christmas tree : 10 - 23rd December 2007 (5pm -
9pm Tues-Friday and 5pm - 8pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday).

Restaurants, pubs and bars are full of the 'spirit' of Christmas and the scent of hot chestnuts fills
the crispy cold air.
The sound of carol singers and laughter make this a truly magical time to visit London and enjoy a

Carol services over this seasonal period.
This year the traditional Carol singing around the tree will be held every evening from 10 - 23rd December 2007.
